Meet Horace
I asked a heavy question of you on Tuesday, Eagle. It shocked a good part of our community… in a very necessary way.
After speaking with many of The Few, I got some equally heavy answers to the question:
What would you do today if you knew you would die tomorrow?
Some knew immediately, some thought they knew until they sat with it, and some never thought about it…
But all of us held this belief in common:
All die but not all live. On our last days, it wasn’t dying that we feared… it was looking back on a life we hadn’t lived.
We feared running out of time and realizing that we had not made the change, taken the risk, said the words, invested the time…
I, like you, never want this fear to become a reality.
This was my inspiration behind our Horace release.
When you wear this garment, you will be reminded:
“Seize the day, put very little trust in tomorrow.”
This is one of my favorite Stoic quotes by the Roman poet Horace. The design features the sands of time falling from the dying onto the living as a signal to do just that… LIVE. The bust at the bottom of the hourglass is Horace himself.
Today, right now, is the time to make your change, take your risk, say your words, and invest your time. Do not wait for your last days to regret not taking your first steps.
