AND I LOVE IT.
Sometimes I get 25 e-mails per day, and sometimes I get 2…
But reading them at night is always the highlight of my day.
Here’s one that I got yesterday from Alexandra:
“I just got my first shirt from you guys and wore it to the gym and got
numerous compliments. So I thank y’all! Definitely sent a bunch of people
in your direction. Also, I was curious if y’all had a military discount. No harm if not, but I figured it was worth the ask!”
I share her note with you for two reasons.
First, let’s look at this part:
“I just got my first shirt from you guys and wore it to the gym and got numerous compliments. So I thank y’all! Definitely sent a bunch of people in your direction.”
After reading this, I got an insane rush of gratitude for Alexandra and…
For YOU.
You’re not only out in this crazy world setting THE example of hard work with your actions,
But you’re also strengthening the FWH movement with your words.
Each time you send someone in FWH’s direction by
Talking about how our gear empowers you,
Sharing the FWH mindset Instagram posts, or
Leaving a review about our community and service —
Our movement gains momentum.
See, words are powerful.
This whole “stick and stones may break my bones but words will never
hurt me” thing…
I don’t buy it.
Words can create and words can destroy…
That’s the reality.
I see you out there using your words to create
Connection within our community,
Momentum within our movement, and, ultimately:
Change within our society.
And I speak for everyone at FWH HQ when I say:
Thank YOU for standing with The Few and furthering our mission of restoring the dignity of hard work with your actions and your words.
Now onto my second reason — I want to answer Alexandra’s question, which is the most-asked one I get:
“Also, I was curious if y’all had a military discount.”
YES, we do.
