Dancing Star
They say, “The only constant in life is change”—
And while I believe this is true,
It is not the complete truth.
Change comes with another constant.
It always brings a friend. A companion, if you will.
With change, comes chaos.
Chaos appears at the doorstep of your life in miniature or monumental moments…
Slowly or suddenly…
Voluntarily or involuntarily…
But it always finds you.
As one of The Few, I do not doubt that chaos has found you. It’s found me, too.
From childhood to adulthood, it is something that cannot be evaded…
And, it is best not avoided.
So, today, I ask you:
Has chaos found you in life, and, more importantly, how has it left you?
Hit reply, and let’s talk about it.
It stays between us… as always.

Here’s one of the most thought-provoking quotes about chaos from Nietzsche:
“One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star.”
Thinking about this, I find that chaos always precedes the change. The strife precedes the star. The dark precedes the light.
