Biscuit

A boy picks the lock on a delivery truck.
He’s desperate for what’s inside.
Once there, he gathers his take— then he hears the truck engine roar.
He pounds frantically on the walls of the truck to be freed.
Turns out, the delivery driver saw the whole thing and decided to take the boy for a ride…
Straight to the police barracks.
The boy learns a hard lesson but, fortunately, the driver and police let him go.
So what was in the back of that delivery truck?
Biscuits. Yes, biscuits. From Jacob’s Biscuits.
This is the widely accepted origin of the phrase:
“Risk it for the biscuit”
It’s a funny quote my boys and I used to say when we played hockey. (Biscuit is slang for the puck!)
Anyway, I thought of this quote today… and then I thought of you, Eagle.
You know how much value I place on taking risks in life.
(It’s Rule No. 5 of The Few and, of course, there's this and this.)
So I’m curious. What’s your “biscuit” this week?
What are you risking your comfort, ego, sleep, etc. to work hard toward?
DM us on Instagram and let me know. I’ll be responding throughout the day!
Talk soon,
